Andrew Kropf

A cybersecurity, compliance, and digital forensics leader, Andrew Kropf serves as a Senior Advisor – Digital Risk & Forensic Investigations with Galore Consulting. Andrew operates as a fractional CISO and strategic advisor to high-growth SaaS and AI companies entering enterprise and regulated markets. He builds programs that pass scrutiny (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA) and align with emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, Colorado AI Act), without slowing product velocity.

Andrew began his career in the MSP and financial services space, working hands-on with security operations, service delivery, customer SLAs, and audit expectations (including PCI DSS and financial industry controls). That experience informs his bias toward solutions that are reliable in production, provable in audits, and defensible with customers and boards.

He later specialized in digital forensics and incident response, investigating insider threats, breaches, and policy violations, building forensic readiness so teams can preserve evidence, reconstruct events, and move from confusion to action under pressure.

Andrew then served as Head of Security, IT and Compliance at Suzy, where he stood up the company’s security program, led audit readiness, and enabled enterprise sales without slowing product development or GTM initiatives. Today, through Filaments and independent engagements, he designs 24-month security roadmaps, deploys SIEM/EDR, runs tabletop exercises, matures IR/forensics, and manages end-to-end audit prep, turning security into a growth lever instead of a burden.
